Job summary

GTCC invites passionate educators to join the Dental Hygiene program as Adjunct instructors for clinic and dental science laboratory courses, providing hands-on instruction in a supportive campus environment that emphasizes student success and professional preparation.

The ideal candidate holds an accredited dental hygiene degree, North Carolina licensure or eligibility, and at least three years of clinical experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited dental hygiene program.
• Associate’s degree in Dental Hygiene or closely related field.
• Active North Carolina dental hygiene license or eligibility to licensure.

Responsibilities

• Teach clinic and dental science laboratory courses only.
• Maintain currency in field and participate in professional development.
• Support college administrative requirements and student records.
• Demonstrate employability skills and professional behavior.

Education

Graduate of accredited dental hygiene program

Associate’s degree in Dental Hygiene

Current unrestricted NC license or eligibility

Bachelor’s degree (preferred)

ADHA membership (preferred)
