Great Expressions is seeking a dedicated Dental Hygiene Assistant to join our dental practice in Georgia. You will work closely with the dental hygienist to prepare treatment rooms, assist during procedures, and educate patients on oral hygiene to ensure a smooth hygiene process.

You will take and develop dental X-rays, maintain sterilization protocols, manage patient records, and handle scheduling and light administrative tasks.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of proven experience as a Dental Hygiene Assistant or Dental Assistant.
• X-ray & CPR certifications required based on state requirements.
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification as a Dental Assistant is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Prepare treatment rooms for dental procedures, ensuring cleanliness and organization.
• Assist the dental hygienist during oral exams, teeth cleanings, and other dental procedure(s).
• Take and develop dental x-rays as directed by the dental hygienist or dentist.
• Maintain and sterilize dental instruments, equipment, and treatment areas.
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and provide post-treatment instructions.
• Manage patient records and update dental charts accurately.
• Schedule and confirm patient appointments, while ensuring a seamless patient experience.
• Perform basic administrative tasks, such as answering phones and managing patient paperwork.
