Qualifications

• Previous dental assisting experience, especially with a hygiene team.
• X-ray certification required or willingness to obtain certification.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Comfortable in a fast-paced dental environment.
• Familiarity with Dentrix is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist the dental hygienist with patient care and clinical procedures.
• Prepare and sterilize instruments and treatment rooms.
• Take dental X-rays as needed.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
• Follow infection control and OSHA guidelines.
• Provide patients with pre- and post-treatment instructions.
• Help manage the hygiene schedule and workflow.
• Restock and organize hygiene supplies.
• Assist with presenting treatment plans when needed.
• Support other clinical team members to ensure smooth patient care.
