Job summary

Lane & Associates Family Dentistry in Greensboro is hiring a Hygiene Assistant to support hygienists with clerical and clinical tasks. You will help maintain chart accuracy, assist with patient flow, and contribute to a positive patient experience.

The role requires strong organizational skills, computer proficiency, and the ability to lift up to 20 pounds. NC X-ray certification and DAI certification are required, with Fridays off at 2 PM and opportunities for bonuses.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid NC X-ray Certification.
• DAI Certification is required.
• Ability to lift 15-20 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Ensure treatment rooms are stocked, disinfected, and set up for each appointment.
• Greet patients warmly and explain your role.
• Update medical history and obtain blood pressure as directed.
• Chart and document procedures; note next treatment.
• Maintain a clean, organized lab and treatment areas.
• Record patient conditions and history; document comments.
• Reinforce home-care instructions and clinician recommendations.
• Assist with recalling patients and managing schedules.
• Manage hygiene room inventory and instrument sterilization.
• Participate in shared maintenance duties and schedule monitoring.
