Heartland Dental LLC is seeking a Hygiene Assistant to join our team at Dental Care at Berewick. No extensive dental experience is required as we provide thorough on-the-job training to build strong assisting skills and future career opportunities.

You will support hygienists, greet patients, review health histories, and maintain rooms and supplies while following safety protocols. A collaborative, patient-first environment awaits with ongoing development and hands-on experience.

Qualifications

• On the job training and additional certification may be required based on state requirements.
• High school graduate or GED equivalent.
• Team Player.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced customer-focused environment.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• HIPAA training and PHI protection required.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome patients from the start of their dental journey, and sustain patient comfort with education throughout treatment.
• Review patient health history to provide quality care.
• Assist hygienists during procedures per state practice act.
• Set up rooms for hygiene visits and stock instruments and supplies.
• Use Dentrix for scheduling and record keeping.
