Description

Dr. Nikki Sekhon is looking for an experienced and dedicated Front Office Coordinator to join her team. In this role, the Front Office Coordinator will be the first point of contact for our patients and will set the tone for their experience. They maintain productive schedules, verify patient insurance information, and collect all co-pays at checkout.

What You’ll Be Accountable For:

  • Greet and check in all patients in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Maintain a safe and positive environment for patients.
  • Maintain productive schedules and confirm appointments.
  • Verify patient insurance coverage, benefits, and eligibility.
  • Present treatment plans and educate patients on their benefits and out of pocket costs.
  • Gain financial commitment from patients, explore payment options when necessary, and collect co-pays.
  • Obtain any necessary insurance pre-authorization and referral documentation.
  • Respond to patient billing, treatment, and benefit inquiries.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, as well as State, Federal, and other regulatory bodies.
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the office manager.

Monday - Thursday 7am-4:30pm

Requirements

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) or equivalent
  • 1 year dental office experience preferred
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills
  • Patient advocate; empathetic, adaptable, and ethical
  • Ability to multitask effectively
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Open Dental experience
  • Dental billing experience
