Progressive, high-quality dental practices, Grace Dental, are each seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Front Office Coordinator to manage patient treatment planning for our practice while providing world-class customer services to our patients. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:
  • Understand and comply with policies and procedures associated with a dental practice.
  • Understand and comply with HIPAA regulations.
  • Exceptional customer service and phone skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel); practice management software (Dentrix) experience a plus!
  • Organized self-starter and motivated problem solver.
  • Clear and effective communication skills (both written and verbal).
  • Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues of all levels and build cross-functional relationships.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITES:
  • Ensure proper communication and information with patients regarding the recommended treatment plans and facilitate successful closure of related financials.
  • Working with other practices to obtain x-rays, referrals and coordinate patient needs.
  • Provide dental insurance verifications and process insurance claims.
  • Maintain patient charts, photos, x-rays.
  • Building positive and productive relationships with referral partners for business growth.
  • Follow up with patients to improve satisfaction.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge about practice services offered.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Knowledge of dental terminology a plus.
  • 3+ years of medical or dental treatment coordinator experience or previous front-office experience in a medical or dental practice.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to do detailed work, using arms, hands, and fingers to manipulate the required office equipment. The employee intermittently is required to sit, stand, walk, stoop, bend and reach throughout the day. Good eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity is needed. Specific vision abilities include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. Must be physically able to administer CPR.
