Job summary

Dental Care of McLean is seeking a Patient Service Representative in McLean, Virginia, to join our clinical team and provide outstanding patient care in a team-based environment. The role involves answering phones, scheduling appointments, and assisting with patient treatment plans and financial arrangements while supporting staff and the Office Manager.

Qualifications

• Experience in a dental/medical office preferred.
• Knowledge of insurance plans (HMO/PPO) a plus.
• Experience answering telephone.
• Exceptional customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients upon arrival and dismissal with a positive demeanor.
• Respond to patient questions and concerns according to office policies.
• Answer telephones and route calls appropriately.
• Schedule and maintain appointments; manage the appointment book.
• Register patients at sign-in and verify information.
• Post charges and payments to patient accounts.
• Check voicemail daily and follow up as needed.
