Job summary

Hiossen Implant in Waltham, MA is seeking a Dental Equipment Technician to repair and install dental equipment on-site. You will maintain tools, manage inventory, and participate in training to stay current with manufacturer standards. The role requires customer-service focus and strong multitasking abilities.

Travel within the U.S. is required at least once per month; you will review work orders with customers and ensure timely documentation for billing.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; AA/Tech cert preferred.
• Minimum 3 years experience in equipment repair/installation and customer service.
• Working knowledge of hydraulics, mechanical, and electrical systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide responsible repair and installation services to customers in a courteous and professional manner.
• Maintain necessary tools and ensure they are readily available for installation and repair services.
• Maintain proper inventory levels and manage parts and supplies effectively.
• Attend required training including Hiossen-specific and manufacturer technical training.
• Comply with OSHA regulations and use PPE as required.
• Communicate in a timely manner with team members and dispatchers on progress.
• Complete work orders accurately and review with customer or staff before departure; close daily for billing.
• Submit job paperwork within required timeframes (FDA forms, expense reports).
• Travel within the U.S. at least once per month to provide equipment installation and repair services.
• Participate in special projects and perform other duties as required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; Associate's Degree or Technical School Certification preferred

• Basic computer skills; ability to utilize company-provided laptop for work-related tasks
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills with ability to adapt to different customer types
• Excellent communication and time management skills
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage workload effectively
• Bilingual in English and Korean preferred
• Must be able to lift up to 100 lbs
• Must comply with company uniform and dress policy
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record required
• Willingness to travel within the U.S. at least once per month
• Car Allowance: $230 biweekly car allowance with gas card, or company mileage reimbursement
• Cellular Allowance: $40 biweekly cellular allowance, or company-provided cellphone
