Job summary

Midwestern University in Glendale, AZ is seeking a Dispensary Assistant to support the dispensary and receiving area, handling dispensing, processing and care of dental instruments, equipment and supplies used in the Dental Clinic. The role reports to the Supervisor of Dispensary and requires flexibility with clinic hours.

The incumbent will use axiUm Inventory software, assist with ordering, track expiration dates, and ensure equipment is maintained and returned in good condition.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1-2 years of inventory or dental office experience preferred.
• Experience with dental products and infection control protocols is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist in dispensing disposable and fixed assets to staff, students and faculty.
• Process internal and external orders, update pricing and manage back orders.
• Perform inventory counts and report discrepancies to supervisor.
