Job summary

Ask IT Consulting Inc. is seeking a Dental Unit Claims Processing Team member to perform data entry, general office tasks, and handle phone calls from providers and recipients.

The position supports dental unit staff by logging and updating prior authorization requests and ensuring accurate data entry in the MMIS system. Ideal candidates have 2–4 years of relevant experience, an associate degree or equivalent, and the ability to follow written and spoken instructions.

Qualifications

• Experience in dental or medical claims processing is preferred.
• Experience answering phones in a medical/dental office environment is a plus.
• 2–4 years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Open and distribute mail to dental unit staff.
• Log incoming prior authorization requests.
• Update records in the MMIS system.
• Answer incoming calls from providers and recipients; provide policy information as needed.
• Transfer calls to dental unit staff when necessary.
