Job summary

Qualifications

• EFDA certification required or obtained upon hire.
• Florida RDA license or CDA certificate obtained prior to May 2009 per state guidelines.
• Radiography licensure required.
• Minimum of one year dental experience preferred.
• Excellent customer service and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in clinical procedures and treatments.
• Learn and comply with Coast’s administrative procedures.
• Maintain MSDS and infection control standards in the dental office.
• Document dental procedures and ensure proper charting.
• Welcome patients, schedule appointments and confirm appointments by phone.
• Explain dental treatment plans and insurance/financing options to patients.
• Ensure operatories are stocked and equipment is maintained.
• Adhere to HIPAA and maintain patient confidentiality.
• Attend meetings and participate in team huddles.
