Qualifications

• Must hold Active EFDA certification or equivalent Expanded Functions licensure.
• Florida RDA license or CDA certificate obtained before May 2009 per state rules.
• Radiography licensure required or to be completed upon hire.
• Minimum one year dental experience preferred.
• Excellent customer service and strong verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work in a high-volume dental office environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist dentist in clinical procedures and treatments.
• Maintain OSHA compliance and infection control standards.
• Document patient medical history, consent forms, and treatment charts.
• Schedule appointments and perform confirmation calls.
• Explain insurance benefits and financial options to patients.
• Ensure operatories are stocked and equipment is maintained.
• Assist with laboratory duties as necessary.
• Attend office meetings and maintain professional team environment.
• Abide by HIPAA regulations and protect patient confidentiality.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
