Job summary

YABAR DENTAL (VB) is seeking a passsionate Dental Biller with 2+ years of experience to join our team in Ohio. The ideal candidate excels at closing big treatment plans, knows PPO insurances, and is familiar with Denti-Cal billing procedures.

Bilingual Spanish is a definite plus. Responsibilities include submitting claims, verifying coverages, explaining costs to patients, and collecting payments, while ensuring billing accuracy and compliance with regulations.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in dental billing.
• Strong knowledge of PPO insurances and Denti-Cal.
• Familiarity with Open Dental software (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Handle all aspects of dental billing, including submitting claims, processing payments, and managing accounts receivable
• Verify insurance coverage and benefits for PPO insurances, Denti-Cal and Medi-Cal
• Explain treatment costs to patients, obtain authorizations, and collect payments
• Ensure accuracy and compliance with billing and coding regulations
• Follow up on outstanding claims and resolve billing issues promptly
• Maintain detailed and organized billing records
• Collaborate with the dental team to optimize billing processes
