Qualifications

• Dentrix software experience required.
• 5+ years as dental receptionist/admin.
• Experience with insurance submission and claim follow up.

Responsibilities

• Present and explain treatment estimates to patients after diagnosis.
• Review financial arrangements with patients and outline payment options.
• Submit insurance claims accurately and promptly for all procedures.
• Enter EOBs into patient ledgers and reconcile payments.
• Follow up on pending or denied claims to secure payment.
• Prepare predeterminations (pre-authorizations) to insurers.
• Communicate insurance benefits and remaining yearly benefits to patients.
• Schedule patients based on treatment plan and dentist availability.
• Maintain accurate financial records and AR reports.
