Dental Associate Sacramento position at Dentist Job Connect INC is a part-time role based in Sacramento, CA. The associate will join a busy practice and provide general dentistry services, with a flexible schedule starting at one day per week (Tuesday).

Compensation includes a $750 per diem with potential to earn 30% of net production after approximately 3–6 months, and a PPO/Cash/FFS/In House Membership plan. Experience with practice software is valued and HIPAA compliance is required.

Qualifications

• Licensed Dentist with active license as a Licensed Associate Dentist.
• Experience in a busy dental clinic or office setting with clinical terminology.
• Hands-on experience in extractions, endodontics, prosthodontics, and oral surgery.
• Familiarity with Epic/Eaglesoft/Dentrix and HIPAA compliance.

Responsibilities

• Perform general dentistry procedures including examinations, cleanings, fillings, crowns, and prosthodontics.
• Assess patients, diagnose conditions, and develop treatment plans.
• Execute procedures such as extractions and root canal therapy with aseptic technique.
• Work with dentures and denture repairs; document treatments in electronic records.
• Utilize imaging tech and manage records in HIPAA-compliant systems.
• Collaborate with team for four-handed dentistry and infection control.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and preventive care.

Join our dynamic dental team as a Licensed Associate Dentist and make a meaningful impact on patients’ oral health and confidence! In this vital role, you will deliver comprehensive dental care in a friendly, patient-focused environment. Responsibilities

• Perform general dentistry procedures including examinations, cleanings, fillings, crowns, and prosthodontics to ensure optimal patient oral health.


• Conduct patient assessments, diagnose dental conditions, and develop personalized treatment plans utilizing dental terminology and clinical best practices.


• Execute complex procedures such as dental extractions, anterior root canal therapy, simple extractions with precision and aseptic technique.


• Knowledge of dentures/partials/denture repairs


• Utilize dental imaging technology and medical records management systems like Epic, Eaglesoft, Dentrix to document treatments accurately in compliance with HIPAA regulations.


• Collaborate with the dental team to provide four-handed dentistry for efficient patient care delivery while maintaining infection control standards.


• Educate patients on oral hygiene practices, treatment options, and preventive care to promote long-term health outcomes.

Experience

• Valid state licensure as a Dentist with active licensing as a Licensed Associate Dentist.


• Proven experience working in a busy dental clinic or dental office environment with familiarity in dental terminology and medical documentation.


• Hands-on experience performing dental extractions, root canal therapy, endodontics, prosthodontics, and oral surgery procedures.


• Proficiency in using dental practice management software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix is highly preferred.


• Strong knowledge of infection control protocols, medical imaging techniques, anatomy fundamentals, and HIPAA compliance standards.


• Prior experience working with pediatric patients or within pediatric dentistry is a plus.
