Job description

Seeking a skilled and patient-focused Associate Dentist to join our team. The ideal candidate will work alongside our experienced dental professionals to provide comprehensive dental care, including diagnosis, treatment planning, and delivery of a wide range of general dentistry services. Key Responsibilities
  • Examine patients and review dental and medical histories to assess oral health conditions.
  • Diagnose oral diseases and develop appropriate treatment plans.
  • Perform general dentistry procedures, including fillings, extractions, root canals, crowns, bridges, and other restorative treatments.
  • Interpret X-rays, scans, and diagnostic tests to inform treatment decisions.
  • Educate patients on oral hygiene, preventive care, and treatment options.
  • Prescribe medications as necessary in accordance with applicable regulations.
  • Refer patients to specialists when advanced or specialized care is required.
  • Maintain accurate and complete patient records in compliance with applicable regulations and privacy requirements.
  • Ensure proper sterilization and infection control procedures are followed throughout the practice.
  • Collaborate with dental hygienists, dental assistants, and administrative staff to ensure efficient patient care and practice operations.
  • Participate in mentorship opportunities and ongoing professional development to expand clinical skills and advance within the practice.
  • Stay current with advancements in dental techniques, materials, and technologies.
Qualifications And Requirements
  • Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from an accredited dental school.
  • Active and valid dental license in good standing, as required by the state of practice.
  • Strong clinical skills across a broad range of general dentistry procedures.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective patient interaction and team collaboration.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to providing high-quality, patient‑centered care.
  • Ability to manage time effectively and handle a varied caseload.
