Job summary

42 North Dental is seeking a dentist to provide comprehensive care from exam and treatment planning to delivery of care in an established practice. In-office specialties include periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery, and orthodontics.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS from ADA CODA-accredited program.
• Current state dentistry license.
• Hepatitis B vaccination documented.
• Malpractice insurance coverage.
• BLS or CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore patient’s oral health.
• Review treatment plan options with patients.
• Review, maintain and update patient records.
• Review and interpret x‑rays and diagnostic tests.
• Monitor growth and development of the teeth and jaws.
• Provide proper restorative and preventive dental care.
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone and soft tissues of the oral cavity.
• Maintain high quality standard of care for all patients.
• Maintain high standard of ethics and professionalism.
• Keep abreast of new developments and continuing education.
