Pediatric Dental Associates is seeking a passionate Dental Assistant to join our close-knit team in providing top-notch dental care to our patients.

As a Dental Assistant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our patients feel comfortable and receive the highest quality dental care possible. You will assist the dentist during procedures, prepare and sterilize instruments, take X-rays, maintain patient records, and provide exceptional patient care. The ideal assistant for our team has a calm disposition and a talent for building rapport with young patients, who may be scared or anxious.

Location

North Philadelphia, PA (E. Allegheny Avenue)

Schedule

• Monday: 7:15 am - 7:00 pm
• Tuesday: 7:15 am - 4:30 pm
• Wednesday: 7:15 am - 4:30 pm
• Thursday: 7:15 am - 3:30 pm
• Friday: 7:15 am - 3:00 pm
• One Saturday a month: 8:00 am - 10:00 am

Responsibilities

1. Work with patients to make them comfortable and prepare them for treatment.
2. Take and process X-rays of patients.
3. Assist the doctors and patients with a wide range of restorative procedures.
4. Chart and enter notes in Dentrix.
5. Work in a team-oriented environment.
6. X-ray certification required.
7. Basic knowledge of hygiene, restorative, and orthodontics.
8. Dental Assisting certificate preferred.
9. Dental office experience preferred.
