Job summary

Clover Kids Pediatric Dentistry, proudly partnered with Chord Specialty Dental Partners, is seeking a Dental Assistant (X-Ray Certified) to support pediatric patients with compassionate care. You will help plan and execute dental procedures, prepare patients, and assist the dentist with radiographs and instrument handling in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires DANB X-Ray certification, OSHA/HIPAA knowledge, and excellent customer service. Travel to other locations may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• DANB X-Ray Certification required.
• Knowledge of radiation techniques/procedures.
• Knowledge of OSHA and HIPAA policies.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Willingness to travel to other locations.

Responsibilities

• Plan, implement, and evaluate dental care for patients per dentist orders.
• Prepare patient for treatment: welcome, seat, and drape.
• Take radiographs as medically necessary per clinician judgment.
• Sterilize and deliver instruments; assist with four-handed dentistry.
• Maintain certifications and licensures.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

J ob Summary:

The Dental Assistant (X-Ray Certified) (DA) is an important part of Chord Specialty Dental Partners team. The DA will plan, coordinate, oversee, and provide pediatric patient care for all areas within the dental standards of practice and the policies of Chord Specialty Dental Partners . The DA will also help to maintain equipment, supplies, and the cleanliness and efficiency of the office.

Schedule

Monday - Thursday 8:15am - 4:30pm and Friday 8:15am - 12:30pm

Responsibilities

• Plan, implement, and evaluate dental care for patients based on individual, specific patient needs and according to dentist’s orders.
• Prepares patient for dental treatment by welcoming, comforting, seating, and draping patient .
• Provides diagnostic information by taking all radiographs and quantity of radiographs deemed medically necessary by the clinical judgement of the treating dentist.
• Provides instrumentation by sterilizing and delivering instruments to treatment area; positioning instruments for dentist's access; suctioning; passing instruments using four-handed dentistry.
• Maintain appropriate certifications and/or licensures.
• Perform all other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications

What you’ll Need:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• DANB X-Ray Certification
• Knowledge of appropriate radiation techniques/procedures
• Knowledge of OSHA and HIPA policies
• Customer Service Experience – Friendly and helpful demeanor with patients and co-workers.
• Flexibility – Must adapt easily to changing conditions and work responsibilities.
• Ability to work well under stressful situations
• Must be available to travel to other locations to meet operational needs

Preferred, But Not Required

• Knowledge of electronic dental records and practice management systems, specifically D enticon .
• Dental office experience
• Coronal Polishing, Nitrous, and Sealants certification
