Job summary

ProSmile is seeking a Dental Assistant w/ X-ray to support clinicians and patients in our Operations location. You will work under dentists and collaborate with hygienists to deliver quality care and manage records.

The role requires X-ray licensing (NJ/MD/PA where applicable) and CPR certification, with a high school diploma or GED. Compensation ranges from $23.00 to $26.00 per hour, based on experience, plus benefits where applicable.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• License required: NJ/MD Dental Radiologic Technologist (DRT) or willing to pursue licensure immediately.
• PA Radiation Health and Safety certificate or willing to pursue certification immediately.
• Certified Dental Assistant preferred.
• 1+ years work experience as a Dental Assistant preferred.
• X-ray License required.
• Active CPR Certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist dentist chairside and provide patient care.
• Maintain inventory in operatories.
• Adhere to OSHA, HIPAA, and CDC guidelines.
• Deliver world class patient interactions related to scheduling and follow-up treatments.
• Perform basic lab tasks such as taking impressions and preparing cases for external labs.
• Contribute to record keeping and scheduling duties.
