Job summary

Smile Brands Inc. is seeking a Registered Dental Assistant to work closely with the Dentist at Johnson Family Dental in California.

Responsibilities include preparing treatment rooms, sterilizing instruments, taking and developing X-rays, educating patients, maintaining records, managing supplies, and assisting with front-office tasks as needed.

Qualifications

• CPR or BLS certification required.
• Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) credential required.
• Experience in a general dental practice.

Responsibilities

• Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize dental instruments.
• Assist the dentist during procedures by handing instruments and ensuring patient comfort.
• Take and develop X-rays as needed.
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene and post-procedure care.
• Maintain accurate patient records and update charts.
• Manage inventory and order dental supplies as required.
• Ensure infection control protocols and safety regulations are followed.

Overview

Schedule (days/hours)

Monday-Friday 8am-5pm

Responsibilities

• Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize dental instruments


• Assist the dentist during procedures by handing instruments and ensuring patient comfort


• Take and develop X-rays as needed


• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene and post-procedure care


• Maintain accurate patient records and update charts


• Manage inventory and order dental supplies as required


• Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and safety regulations


• Assist with front office tasks, such as scheduling appointments and processing payments, if needed

Compensation

$26-$32/hr
