Job summary

Johnson Family Dental in California is seeking a Registered Dental Assistant to work closely with our Dentist. You will prepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, take and develop X-rays, and hand instruments during procedures to ensure patient comfort.

Qualified candidates must have CPR or BLS certification, be a Registered Dental Assistant, and have general practice experience. Schedule is Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm with benefits including PTO, health/dental/vision coverage, and a 401k plan.

We’re looking for a Registered Dental Assistant professional who will work closely with our Dentist.

Schedule (days/hours)

Monday-Friday 8am-5pm

Responsibilities

• Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize dental instruments
• Assist the dentist during procedures by handing instruments and ensuring patient comfort
• Take and develop X-rays as needed
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene and post-procedure care
• Maintain accurate patient records and update charts
• Manage inventory and order dental supplies as required
• Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and safety regulations
• Assist with front office tasks, such as scheduling appointments and processing payments, if needed

Qualifications

Compensation

$26-$32/hr
