Job summary

Dental365 in New City, NY is seeking a Dental Assistant to welcome patients and support the dentist during procedures using modern technology in a comfortable, patient-first environment.

We value strong communication and teamwork, offer a $3,000 Welcoming Bonus, flexible health and vision plans, a 401(k) with match, generous PTO, an in-house dental program, scrubs allowance and other perks. Salary ranges from $17 to $28 per hour in New York.

Qualifications

• Previous dental assisting experience preferred, but not required.
• Certification/license as required by the state to perform specified duties.
• A resume showcasing a consistent and stable employment history.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills, delivering exceptional patient experiences.

Responsibilities

• Welcoming patients with a smile, making them feel comfortable and confident throughout their visit.
• Assist the Dentist through a variety of procedures
• Taking digital radiographs and intra-oral scans as prescribed
• Order supplies and manage back-office inventory
• Help provide guidance and training for assistants and team members in the office.
• Ensure strict infection control by meticulously preparing and sterilizing instruments and equipment.
• Adhere to OSHA and safety policies, prioritizing a secure and healthy environment.
• Educate patients on effective oral hygiene strategies as needed
• Perform various office tasks as necessary

HIRING SCHEDULE:

• Sunday: OFF
• Wednesday: 9:00 am - 5:00 pm
• Saturday: OFF
