The Dental Assistant supports the dentist in providing high-quality patient care by performing a variety of clinical and administrative tasks. This role includes preparing patients for treatments, sterilizing instruments, preparing rooms, and assisting during dental procedures. The Dental Assistant also manages patient records and educates patients on oral hygiene practices.
This is a non-union, non-exempt position with a wage of $19.50 per hour, paid bi-weekly.
This position may be offered to candidates who have completed or are within 30 days of completing an accredited dental assisting program but have not yet obtained state or national certification. Continued employment is contingent upon obtaining required certifications, including Oregon radiography certification and Dental Assistant certification (CDA or equivalent), within six (6) months of the date of hire. Failure to meet this requirement may result in termination of employment.
This position requires successful passage of a State mandated background check.
