Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required; active license/permit as required by the state of practice; including x-ray certification if required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with patients of diverse backgrounds.
• Ability to work collaboratively with the dental team to provide excellent patient care.

Responsibilities

• Assist during a variety of treatment procedures.
• Take dental x-rays.
• Set up and breakdown operatory after treatments.
• Coordinate patient handoffs and monitor patient flow within the practice.
• Manage infection control by preparing and sterilizing instruments and equipment.
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices.
• Support patient charting for doctors.
• Perform office tasks as necessary and collaborate with the team to ensure patient satisfaction.
