Job summary

Aspen Dental is hiring a Dental Assistant to support clinical needs and assist doctors across a range of procedures. You will take dental X-rays, prepare operatory equipment, and help manage patient flow with a focus on safety and quality care.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Active license/registration/permit as required by the state; x-ray certification if required.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist during a variety of treatment procedures.
• Take dental x-rays.
• Set up and breakdown operatory post treatment.
• Execute patient handoffs and monitors patient flow within the practice.
• Manage infection control – prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene strategies to maintain good oral health.
• Complete denture relines and temporary crowns.
• Perform quality impressions and bite registrations.
• Perform digital intraoral scans.
• Support patient charting for doctors.
• Collaborate with practice team to ensure patient satisfaction.
