Qualifications

• Current Dental Assistant license, registration, or state certification.
• Radiology (X-ray) certification as required by state.
• CPR or BLS certification.
• 2+ years' experience as a Dental Assistant.
• Proficient chairside assisting and four-handed dentistry.
• Maintain annual CE requirements and state expansions.

Responsibilities

• Assist the dental office team to maintain productive patient flow.
• Assist the doctors during a variety of procedures.
• Breakdown operatory rooms for doctors and hygienists.
• Complete sterilization of equipment and operatory; ensure staff training and compliance.
• Follow maintenance schedules for waterlines, autoclave, and compressors.
• Tray and operatory setup for all procedures.
• Support patient charting and educate patients on oral care.
