Job summary

Aspen Dental in Hampton, Virginia is seeking a Dental Assistant to support clinicians and patients during a range of procedures. You will take radiographs, set up operatory, sterilize instruments, and educate patients on oral hygiene while maintaining infection control and smooth patient flow.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are required.
• Ability to work collaboratively with the dental team is essential.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Active license/registration/permit as required by the state; include X-ray certification if required.

Responsibilities

• Assist during a variety of treatment procedures.
• Take dental x-rays.
• Set up and breakdown operatory post-treatment.
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene.
• Complete denture relines and temporary crowns.
• Perform digital intraoral scans.
• Support patient charting and infection control; sterilize instruments.
