Job summary

Aspen Dental in Norfolk, VA is seeking a Dental Assistant to support a range of procedures and ensure smooth daily operations. You will assist during treatments, take x-rays, and help maintain a clean operatory to deliver high-quality care.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Active license, registration, or permit as required by state; including x-ray certification if required.

Responsibilities

• Assist during a variety of treatment procedures
• Take dental x-rays
• Set up and breakdown operatory post treatment
• Educate patients on appropriate oral hygiene strategies to maintain good oral health
• Complete denture soft relines and manufacture temporary crowns
• Perform quality impressions and bite registrations
• Perform digital intraoral scans
• Support patient charting for doctors
• Collaborate with practice team to ensure optimum patient satisfaction
