Job summary

Dentists of Hanover is seeking a dental assistant to join our team. Learn basic dental assisting under supervision, support patient care, and participate in infection control and charting to ensure high-quality service.

• Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Learn and perform basic dental assisting under supervision.
• Support patient experience by focusing on patient needs and concerns.
• Learn infection control and sterilization procedures to ensure safety.
• Assist with radiographs and intra-oral pictures per state requirements after safety checks.
• Prepare for patient care and assist during procedures, coordinating with the front desk.
• Instruct patients on postoperative and general oral health care as directed.
• Record patient charts and treatment notes in the digital system.
• Present treatment records, consents and health history to the dentist before treatment.
• Maintain compliance with State, Federal, and other regulations (OSHA, HIPAA, ADA, etc.).
