Lumio Dental in Tecumseh is seeking a dedicated Dental Assistant to support doctors with chairside care and patient management. The role emphasizes accurate recordkeeping, patient histories, and hands-on treatment support in a private-practice setting.

Qualifications

• Experience or new student welcome to Lumio Dental.
• Comfortable working shoulder-to-shoulder with doctors and delivering chairside care.
• Willingness to engage in ongoing education through CE programs.

Responsibilities

• Expose dental diagnostic X-Ray.
• Record treatment information in patient records.
• Take and record medical and dental histories and vital signs of patients.
• Clean teeth using dental instruments including cleaning and polishing removable appliances.
• Apply a protective coating of fluoride to teeth.
• Fabricate temporary restorations and custom impressions from preliminary impressions.
• Instruct patients in oral hygiene and plaque control programs.
• Pour, trim, and polish study casts.
