Job summary

Lumio Dental Benson seeks a dedicated Dental Assistant to support doctors with chairside care and patient comfort. This role requires accurate record-keeping, X-ray exposure, and friendly, professional patient interactions in a collaborative practice.

Hours are Monday–Thursday 8–5 and Friday 8–2. Lumio offers benefits including health/vision/dental, 401K, and ongoing education through our mentorship program, with a culture that values you and your future.

Responsibilities

• Expose dental diagnostic X-Ray.
• Record treatment information in patient records
• Take and record medical and dental histories and vital signs of patients.
• Clean teeth, using dental instruments including cleaning and polishing removable appliances.
• Apply a protective coating of fluoride to teeth.
• Fabricate temporary restorations and custom impressions from preliminary impressions.
• Instruct patients in oral hygiene and plaque control programs.
• Pour, trim, and polish study casts.
