Job summary

Lumio Dental in Lawrence, KS is seeking a Dental Assistant to work closely with our doctors and provide exceptional chairside care. This full-time, on-site role supports patient care across multiple routine procedures and exams.

You will record treatment information, take histories and vital signs, assist with x-rays, fluoride applications, temporary restorations, and patient education on oral hygiene. Competitive benefits offered.

Responsibilities

• Record treatment information in patient records
• Take and record medical and dental histories and vital signs of patients
• Clean teeth, using dental instruments including cleaning and polishing removable appliances
• Apply a protective coating of fluoride to teeth
• Fabricate temporary restorations and custom impressions from preliminary impressions
• Instruct patients in oral hygiene and plaque control programs
• Pour, trim, and polish study casts
• Expose dental diagnostic X-Ray

Position Details

• Dental assistant experience preferred
• Office hours: Monday - Wednesday 8-5pm, Thursday 8-4pm, Friday 8-1pm
