Qualifications

• Active Florida RDA license required.
• Minimum 2 years of clinical dentistry experience.
• Proficient with digital charting and dental software.
• Knowledge of infection control and OSHA standards.
• Exceptional communication and patient care skills.
• Positive, team-oriented attitude.

Responsibilities

• Assist the dentist during various procedures including restorations, extractions, endodontics, prosthodontics, and pediatric dentistry treatments.
• Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments and ensuring supplies are available.
• Take and develop dental X-rays and utilize 3D scanners for diagnostics.
• Manage patient records using EMR systems (Eaglesoft, Dentrix, Epic) while HIPAA compliant.
• Record vital signs and medical history prior to procedures.
• Maintain infection control standards and sterilization procedures.
• Provide chairside assistance with dental terminology and medical documentation.
• Educate patients on oral health practices and post-treatment care instructions.
• Support scheduling, medical records, and billing/coding tasks.
• Ensure clinic environment adheres to safety protocols.
