Qualifications

• Active Registered Dental Assistant license or applicable credential.
• Current CPR certification required.
• 6–12 months of dental assisting experience preferred.
• Knowledge of dental procedures, infection control, and sterilization practices.
• Ability to perform radiography as permitted by requirements.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
• Organized, dependable, and detail oriented.
• Willingness to learn and develop additional clinical skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist dentists with a variety of dental procedures.
• Prepare patients and operatories before and after appointments.
• Take dental X-rays and support diagnostic procedures.
• Obtain and document patient medical histories.
• Assist with patient charting and treatment documentation.
• Take dental impressions and bite registrations as needed.
• Perform digital intraoral scans when required.
• Prepare, sterilize, and maintain dental instruments and equipment.
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene and pre- and post-treatment care.
• Support smooth patient flow throughout the practice.
• Maintain infection control and workplace safety standards.
• Collaborate with dentists and team members to provide quality care.
• Perform additional clinical and administrative duties as needed.
