Job summary

Advanced Pediatric Dentistry and APD Anesthesia LLC in Mechanicsburg seeks a compassionate Dental Assistant/Surgical Assistant to join a busy private pediatric dental practice. You will support pediatric dentists and anesthesia providers in both office and operating room settings, helping children and families feel safe and cared for.

• Previous dental assisting experience preferred.
• Dental Radiology Certification is required, but will train to be certified.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

• Passion for working with children and providing outstanding patient care.

• Monitor and maintain clinical supplies and equipment.
• Help create a calm, welcoming experience for children and their families.
• Work collaboratively with dentists, anesthesia providers, and fellow team members to provide exceptional patient care.

Schedule

• Monday through Thursday (36 hours per week)
• Occasional Fridays are designated as hospital surgery days and are shared on a rotating schedule amongst dental assistants.
