Responsibilities

• Provide chairside assistance to oral surgeons and prosthodontists during surgical and implant procedures.
• Anticipate clinician needs and maintain a clean, organized treatment area.
• Assist with administration and documentation of local anesthesia, nitrous and IV sedation.
• Ensure patient comfort, monitor well-being and educate on pre- and post-operative care.
• Prepare, sterilize and set up instruments and trays per infection control protocols.
• Take dental x-rays and prepare materials for impressions.
• Assist with medical clearances and patient record management.
• Support front office tasks by scheduling, greeting patients and managing supplies.
• Collaborate with surgical and prosthetic teams for seamless patient care.

What You’ll Do

Skills And Experience We’re Looking For

• Previous experience as a Surgical Assistant a plus.
• Valid certifications that meet applicable state requirements
• Strong manual dexterity and ability to handle surgical instruments with precision
• Self-starter mentality with excellent focus on patient safety and care
