Job summary

ClearChoice Dental Implant Centers in the United States is seeking a Surgical Dental Assistant to support our oral surgeons and prosthodontists during dental implant procedures. This full‑time role offers opportunities to grow within a patient‑centered, collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Surgical Assistant is a plus.
• Valid certifications that meet applicable state requirements.
• Strong manual dexterity and ability to handle surgical instruments with precision.
• Self-starter with excellent focus on patient safety and care.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Excellent communication skills and a compassionate approach to patient care.

Responsibilities

• Provide chairside assistance to oral surgeons and prosthodontists during surgical and implant procedures.
• Anticipate clinician needs and maintain a clear, organized treatment area.
• Assist with administration and documentation of local anesthesia, nitrous sedation, and IV sedation procedures.
• Ensure patient comfort, monitor well-being, and educate them on pre- and post-operative care.
• Prepare, sterilize, and set up instruments and surgical trays, following strict infection control protocols.
• Take dental x-rays and prepare materials for impressions, as directed.
• Assist with medical clearances and patient record management.
• Support office operations by scheduling, greeting patients, and managing supplies when needed.
• Collaborate closely with the surgical and prosthetic teams to ensure seamless patient care.
