Job summary

ClearChoice Dental Implant Centers is hiring a Surgical Dental Assistant in Orlando. You will support oral surgeons and prosthodontists during implant procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety while maintaining a sterile, organized environment.

Responsibilities include anesthesia assistance, instrument preparation, patient education, and coordinating with the surgical team. This full-time role offers comprehensive benefits and a clear career path.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Surgical Assistant required.
• Valid certifications that meet applicable state requirements.
• Strong manual dexterity and ability to handle surgical instruments with precision.

• Provide chairside assistance to oral surgeons and prosthodontists during surgical and implant procedures
• Anticipate clinician needs and maintain a clear, organized treatment area
• Assist with administration and documentation of local anesthesia, nitrous sedation, and IV sedation procedures
• Ensure patient comfort, monitor well-being, and educate them on pre- and post-operative care
• Prepare, sterilize, and set up instruments and surgical trays, following strict infection control protocols
• Take dental x-rays and prepare materials for impressions, as directed
• Assist with medical clearances and patient record management
• Support office operations by scheduling, greeting patients, and managing supplies when needed
• Collaborate closely with the surgical and prosthetic teams to ensure seamless patient care
