ClearChoice Dental Implant Centers is seeking a Prosthodontist Dental Assistant to support advanced dental implant procedures and provide exceptional patient care. This full-time role focuses on chair-side assistance, instrument preparation, and strict infection control, ensuring smooth, confidence-building patient experiences.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in a dental assisting role.
• Prosthodontist/implants experience preferred.
• Valid state certifications for dental assistants.
• Strong manual dexterity and patient care.
• Ability to remain calm in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist Prosthodontist during dental implant procedures.
• Prepare and sterilize instruments per infection control standards.
• Provide chair-side assistance and keep the treatment area organized.
• Make patients comfortable and informed during visits.
• Take dental x-rays and assist with imaging procedures.
• Prepare materials for impressions and restorations.
• Educate patients on post-operative care and oral hygiene.
• Assist with inventory management and recordkeeping.
• Schedule appointments and manage front-desk tasks as needed.
• Collaborate with oral surgeons, hygienists, and staff to ensure high-quality care.

Salary: $34 - $36 per hour (based on experience and certification)

What You'll Do

• Work directly with the Prosthodontist to assist in advanced dental procedures, particularly dental implant treatments
• Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment, ensuring strict infection control standards
• Provide chair-side assistance during procedures, anticipate the dentist’s needs, and keep the treatment area clear and organized
• Make patients feel comfortable and informed throughout their visit
• Take dental x-rays, process radiographs, and assist with radiographic imaging
• Prepare materials for impressions and restorations
• Educate patients on post-operative care and general oral hygiene
• Support the prosthetic team with inventory management, lab coordination, and recordkeeping
• Perform office tasks as needed, such as scheduling appointments, receiving patients, maintaining records, and ordering supplies
• Collaborate with other clinical staff, including oral surgeons, hygienists, and Patient Education Consultants to ensure exceptional care
• Assist in specialized areas such as oral surgery, periodontics, and prosthodontics

Skills And Experience We're Looking For

• Valid certifications that meet applicable state requirements
• 2+ years of previous experience in a dental assisting role
• Prior experience with dental implants or prosthodontics is highly desirable
• Strong manual dexterity and ability to handle dental instruments with precision
• Ability to remain calm under pressure and thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication and patient care skills
• Comfortable with radiographic equipment and digital dental technology
