Job summary

Aspen Dental is seeking a Dental Assistant in New Jersey to support a busy practice with patient-focused care. You will assist during procedures, take x-rays, set up and break down operatory, and help maintain infection control and patient flow.

We offer a competitive hourly wage of $24–$26, a $3,000 sign-on bonus, a robust benefits package (PTO, health/dental/vision, 401(k) with match), and rich onboarding and ongoing training to grow with the team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Active license, registration, or permit as required by state; including x-ray certification if required

Responsibilities

• Assist during a variety of treatment procedures
• Take dental x-rays
• Set up and breakdown operatory post treatment
• Execute patient handoffs and monitors patient flow within the practice
• Manage infection control – prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment
• Educate patients on appropriate oral hygiene strategies to maintain good oral health
• Complete denture relines and temporary crowns
• Perform quality impressions and bite registrations
• Perform digital intraoral scans
• Support patient charting for doctors
• Collaborate with practice team to ensure optimum patient satisfaction
