Job summary

Aspen Dental is seeking a Dental Assistant to join our team in a full-time capacity. The role offers a competitive hourly salary of $22–$26, plus a $1,000 sign-on bonus and a comprehensive benefits package including paid time off, health, dental, vision, and a 401(k) with match.

You will assist during treatment, take dental x-rays, set up and break down operatory post-treatment, manage infection control, educate patients on oral hygiene, and help ensure smooth patient flow and high-quality care.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of chairside experience.
• Active license/registration or permit as required by state; x-ray cert if required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with patients of all ages/backgrounds.
• Commitment to ongoing learning and professional development.
• Ability to work collaboratively with the dental team to provide exceptional patient care.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Assist during a variety of treatment procedures.
• Take dental x-rays.
• Set up and breakdown operatory post treatment.
• Execute patient handoffs and monitor patient flow within the practice.
• Manage infection control – prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment.
• Educate patients on appropriate oral hygiene strategies to maintain good oral health.
• Complete denture relines and manufacture temporary crowns.
• Perform impressions and bite registrations.
• Perform digital intraoral scans.
• Support patient charting for doctors.
• Perform various office tasks as necessary.
• Collaborate with practice team to ensure optimum patient satisfaction.
