Job summary

Community Health Center of Snohomish County seeks a Dental Assistant to join our clinic network. You will greet patients, assist Dentists, manage radiographs, and support front-desk duties as needed.

Qualifications

• Must read, speak, understand and write proficiently in English.
• Graduate of a Dental Assisting program or equivalent experience.
• Registered Dental Assistant in Washington; CPR/AED first-day requirement.
• Experience with dental terminology and standard office software.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and visitors and respond to inquiries courteously.
• Assist patients with forms, explain pre-op and post-op instructions.
• Provide interpreter coordination with reception staff as needed.
• Assist Dentists chairside and with radiographic surveys (X-rays) as prescribed.
• Maintain instrument sterility, reprocess operatories and stock rooms.
• Support scheduling, patient flow and fee slips processing.
• Assist as a Dental Receptionist when required and aid other departments.
• Follow infection control and inventory protocols.
