Job summary

Community Health Center of Snohomish County is seeking a Dental Assistant to join our clinical team. You will support dentists chairside, manage patient flow, and help with pre/post‑op instructions and billing processes.

The role requires a Dental Assisting program credential (or equivalent experience), Washington registration, CPR certification, and immunization proof. A sign-on bonus and a comprehensive benefits package accompany this position.

Qualifications

• Reads, speaks, understands and writes proficiently in English.
• Graduate of a Dental Assisting program, or a foreign-trained dentist with minimum 1 year experience as a dental assistant, or a dental assistant with ≥500 hours of patient care in the past 12 months.
• Washington state Dental Assistant registration preferred/required.
• Basic Life Support (CPR) certification to be obtained on first day of hire.
• Immunity to measles, mumps, rubella and varicella required.

Responsibilities

• Greets patients and visitors, answers inquiries and schedules appointments.
• Assists dentists chairside, maintains operatory readiness and prepares materials.
• Verifies patient forms and pre/post‑op instructions; assists with pre-authorization.
• Manages patient flow, coordinates with reception and interpreters as needed.
• Operates dental software and maintains accurate electronic records.
