The Smilist in Frederick, MD is seeking a reliable Dental Assistant to support clinicians, prepare trays, maintain sterile areas, and escort patients. You will assist doctors and ensure patient comfort while contributing to efficient dental care.

Qualified candidates have at least 1 year of dental assistant experience, an active MD X-Ray license, knowledge of dental instruments, and strong communication. Dentrix experience is a plus, and teamwork and attention to detail are essential.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Dental Assistant - at least 1 year.
• Active MD X-Ray License required.
• Knowledge of dental instruments, equipment, and procedures.
• Prior Dentrix experience preferred, but not required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work well in a team and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
• Attention to detail and a positive attitude.

Responsabilités

• Keep patients focused on optimal treatment while attending their individual concerns and promoting the good qualities of their doctor.
• Maintain a clean, sterile, and cheerful environment where your patient feels comfortable; prepare patients for treatment, and assist the doctors - thereby enabling them to provide efficient quality dental treatment.
• Escort patients to and from the front desk.
• Prepare tray setups for dental procedures and maintain adequate supply levels in each operatory, ordering and replenishing as needed.
• Other duties as assigned by management.

Position Details:

• Schedule: Full Time - some Saturdays required
• Salary Range: $20.00-$27.00/hour
• Location: Frederick, MD
