Job summary

42 North Dental in Rochester, NH is seeking a Dental Assistant to provide clinical support, assist dentists, and maintain patient flow for a positive care experience.

You will greet patients, assist during procedures, take radiographs, and ensure rooms and instruments are prepared and sterilized. A CDA or state licensure is preferred, with a team-focused approach and continuing education expected.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of dental procedures and terminology required.
• CDA certification or licensure preferred by state.
• Certification or licensure as required by state.

Responsibilities

• Greet and prepare patients for treatment.
• Provide chairside assistance during dental procedures.
• Expose radiographs and intra-oral pictures.
• Provide post-operative instructions and patient education.

Responsibilities:

• Greet and prepare patients for treatment
• Provide chairside assistance during a variety of dental procedures
• Expose radiographs and intra-oral pictures
• Provide post operative instructions and patient education
• Prepare, breakdown, disinfect and sterilize treatment rooms and instruments
• Maintain strict compliance to infection control, CDC, OSHA and HIPPA
• Maintain dental supply inventory
• Perform other related job duties as assigned
• Must demonstrate strong teamwork as the providers assisted are subject to change dependent upon the practice needs

Skills & Qualifications:

• Knowledge of dental procedures and terminology
• C.D.A. preferred
• Possess required certifications, licensure or registration as required by state
• Embrace a positive team approach to patient care

Hourly Rate

$25 - $27 USD
