Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) or Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) with ID and certification number.
• NJ licensure to perform dental radiography procedures.
• CPR certification.
• 2–3 years of related experience.
• Bilingual English/Spanish or another language preferred.
• Working some Saturdays required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for treatment and assist the dentist in restorative dentistry or oral surgery.
• Prepare materials and equipment for treatment and have them ready for use.
• Take dental radiographs and assist with laboratory work.
• Schedule appointments, answer the phone, order supplies, and handle dental billing.
• Maintain a sterile and neat working environment according to infection control procedures.
