Job summary

Overland Dental Practice seeks a qualified Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) or Dental Assistant for clinic roles, full-time or part-time. You will assist the dentist during exams and procedures, manage administrative tasks, and help create a welcoming patient experience.

The ideal candidate is state-licensed as an RDA or DA and has at least two years of experience, with friendly, outgoing demeanor and commitment to high-quality patient care.

Qualifications

• Active California RDA license (or eligible).
• Certified Dental Assistant DA credential.
• Minimum 2 years as a dental assistant.
• Current Basic Life Support/CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Welcome patients into the treatment area and ensure comfort.
• Discuss the dental care plan with patients and answer questions.
• Take vital signs and record medical history.
• Prep sterilized equipment for exams and procedures.
• Assist dentist during procedures and exams.
• Adhere to health, safety regulations and office policies.
• Schedule appointments (training available).

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a dental assistant


• Current Basic Life Support/CPR certification is required


• Dentrix computer and data entry skills preferred


• Excellent communication and customer service skills


• Ability to provide high-quality patient care
