About the Role:

Financial District Dentistry is looking for a skilled and motivated Dental Assistant (RDA Preferred) to join our dynamic team in the heart of San Francisco, CA. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a fast‑paced, patient‑focused environment where your skills and passion for dentistry will truly shine.

Responsibilities:

• Assist dentists chairside during a variety of dental procedures including restorations, extractions, and cosmetic treatments
• Prepare and sterilize instruments, operatories, and dental equipment in compliance with infection control protocols
• Take and develop digital X‑rays (radiographs) as directed by the dentist
• Record patient medical histories, treatment notes, and updates in dental practice management software
• Educate patients on post‑operative care and proper oral hygiene practices
• Manage inventory of dental supplies and assist with ordering as needed
• Support front office staff with scheduling, patient communication, and maintaining a welcoming environment

Requirements:

• Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) license preferred; DA experience required
• Knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and infection control standards
• Experience with dental X‑rays and digital imaging systems
• Familiarity with dental practice management software (Dentrix, Eaglesoft, or similar)
• Strong interpersonal skills with a patient‑first, compassionate attitude
• Ability to multitask and thrive in a busy, professional office setting
• CPR/BLS certification preferred
